About Us

The Norfolk Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 Nebraska Non-Profit organization that provides supplemental funding to the Norfolk Public Library.  The City of Norfolk provides the majority of funding for the library, but the Library Foundation is able to provide additional funds to complement and improve programs and services that are available for all ages.

Some of the major programs supported by the Library Foundation are the Summer Reading Program for all ages, the “Start Making a Reader Today” program for new parents, and the Annual Literature Festival.  The Norfolk Library Foundation is also a supporter of the Norfolk Daily News‘ Newspapers in Education and a proud member of the Philanthropy Council of Northeast Nebraska.

The Norfolk Library Foundation welcomes gifts to its endowment fund as well as memorial donations and other special designated gifts.  Please contact the Norfolk Public Library at 402-844-2100 to learn more.
